Christmas Fair just around the corner

We invite you to take part in Christmas Fair of Wadowice! During the pre-Christmas rush is worth stopping for a moment and spend some unforgettable moments in the glow of Christmas lights listening to the sounds of joyful songs.

The opening ceremony of the Christmas Fair will take place on Friday 16th December at 6 p.m. by the sounds of brass band together we switch on Christmas illuminations. The Santa Claus visit us and bring surprises for kids.

During the Fair, from 16 to 23 December we have planned contests with prizes, a variety of activities and a rich artistic program with the participation of children and youth with educational institutions in our municipality. On Saturday, December 17, we will host representatives of Mexico, who will show us their customs of Christmas. The Fair of Wadowice will become the backdrop for fabulous scenery. On Thursday (22.12) in the distant Land of Ice come to us Elza Anna. Together we will look for their lost friend - Olaf!

Every day (at 5 p.m.) you can meet with Santa Claus, who prepared for children games and competitions.
The Fair of Wadowice is also an opportunity for that to discover the town again and seize the opportunity to ride the choo-choo Christmas around ‘Trail of Karol Wojtyła’. Our chilled guests we invite to the original ‘Galician Mulled’ to accompany the December evenings and encourage to celebrate.

On Sunday, December 18, 2016 we invite you for a workshop performance of Christmas decorations, performances by schools, Workshop Center out of School and show for children. The highlight will be a common ‘Christmas Eve at Wojtyła’. Thanks to the commitment of restaurateurs from Wadowice there will be opportunity to meet at a common table for a warm meal. On this day will be carried out by the charity Foundation Donor Bone Marrow Stem Cells (DKMS). Throwing to the cans some money, you will receive a Christmas coupon, which will be replaced with delicacies prepared by our local Restaurateurs.

Christmas Fair is the perfect place for those who want to give your loved ones something special. Wooden houses are filled with unique, handmade gift that perfect Christmas present under the tree. In this year there will be waiting for you the power goodies: highland cheese ‘oscypek’, fish straight from the Carp Valley, aromatic gingerbread, tasty meats, sweet honey and nutritious juices. You do not have an idea for a Christmas decoration? Among the assortment of Christmas there will be richly decorated with reeds, clay lanterns and aromatic candles.
