Tourist Information Centre in Wadowice was established in May 2001. It is currently in the structures of the Municipality Hall and also belongs to Tourist Information System of Małopolska (MSIT) as a 4 star office (the highest category in the system). The MSIT office is located in the town center, in close to major tourist attractions - the Basilica of the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary, the Museum of Family House of the Holy Father John Paul II and the Municipal Museum. There are 4 workers who serve tourists providing complete information about the commune Wadowice as well as other places in Małopolska region and even Poland. We run a tourist database on a local scale, which is constantly updated. We distribute promotional materials which are issued under MSIT or obtained from the Polish Tourist Organisation. We also publish its own publications in various languages (among others: Polish, English, German, Italian, Spanish, French, Slovak). At our office you can also use the tourist reading room, there are over 200 items (maps, guides, atlases etc.). There is also possibility of renting a bike or tablet with the multimedia application with the Trail of Karol Wojtyła around Wadowice.

• Second place in the competition organized by the Polish Tourist Organisation for the best Tourist Information Centre in 2008 in the category of towns up to 20 thousand of residents
• One of the model Tourist Information offices in Małopolska Region according to Marshal
Department of Małopolska.
• Award for contribution to the development and promotion of tourism in the Malopolska Region.
• Second place in the competition organized by the Polish Tourist Organisation for the best Tourist Information Centre in 2016 in the category of **** stars.
